What is Refresh?
Refresh is a static value that each character has that they use to buy stunts as well as determining the amount of Fate Points they begin each story with.
If used to buy stunts your refresh is permanently reduced by one.
What are Fate Points?
Fate Points are a pool of points each character receives at the beginning of a story. They are used to invoke aspects (see Aspects) , or use stunts, which give your characters a bonus. They can also be used to declare a detail of the story that is related to your aspects. The GM, of course, has final say over whether or not they want to incorporate this detail into the story.
Example: My character has an aspect called A Girl in Every Port. I decide to declare that in this town, since we need an ally, I slept with the Mayor's daughter, and while he doesn't approve, she is absolutely smitten with me and he just can't say no to his little girl.
